At Maple Bear, field trips provide a useful learning experience for the children outside of the daily classroom environment. Every month, the children will have the opportunity to participate in a field trip in different locations related to the topic which they are learning about at school. So they can make a connection between their knowledge and real life. We believe that integrated learning helps children achieve better results when they see the meaning and relevance of what they learn in school. Popular field trip sites are public parks, museums, fire stations, medical centers, cultural venues, orphanages, nursing homes, etc. In each trip, children learn to play in an open space, learn from the real experience of the senses in a new learning environment. They feel the world around them so close and will be more aware of their responsibility of sharing with disadvantaged communities and protecting the environment. This is the essence of acquiring essential skills that help your child grow and become a global citizen.
