Mid-Autumn Festival is a festival held on the full moon day of the 8th lunar month every year. This is an opportunity to commemorate ancestors, give gifts to family and friends, make lanterns together, watch lion dances, display five-fruit trays, etc. to create traditional beauty.
Mid-Autumn Festival is the first festival of a school year right after the Opening Ceremony. On this day last year, the bears of Sunshine Maple Bear were busy decorating the house with a new shirt and counting down the days to gather around a tray full of joy and happiness.
This year’s moon season, although not celebrating the festive season together like in previous years, SMbers together held a special “break-out” day. The children had a warm mid-autumn festival with their family, together they made moon cakes, glued lanterns and fish lights, then meticulously collaged, decorated colorful masks, etc. The five-fruit tray was assembled on one The small screen is really neat, neat and eye-catching. The children shared about the lanterns containing their own wishes, etc. The products not only show the ingenuity and creativity of SMBers but also convey the message of love and connection in “Stay at home is patriotic” days.
It is no coincidence that the Mid-Autumn Festival is called the Reunification Day because it is a time when we care for each other and share simple stories to add cohesion. “Connection” is strength is also the theme of this school year. Every member of Sunshine Maple Bear family, wherever they are, always looks towards each other, with the same goal, and we will soon meet again, reunited in joy and happiness.
Wishing all AMBers a very happy and warm Mid-Autumn Festival with their families!
