Sunshine Readers Kindergarten Contest – Looking for a Sunshine Reading Culture Ambassador

As part of the Sunshine Readers project organized by the Sunshine Maple Bear education system, on June 8, 2021, Sunshine Maple Kindergarten officially launched the Sunshine Readers contest with 21 exciting challenges. This is an opportunity for parents to spend more time with their children, as well as with the school to form a passion for English books, and to build a reading culture for students from an early age.

1. Audience: Students from 2 to 6 years old inside and outside the system
2. Contest time:

From June 12 to July 4: Parents can register with their children to participate in the challenge (leg 7-14-21 days) at https://bit.ly/3gbHyS7 (optional)

From July 5 to July 11, 2021: Time to receive entries

From 12 to 18/7/2021: Time to call for interaction

3. Contest rules

– Each student submits 01 product

– Format: Video (under 3 minutes)

– Content: Children present an English book in English

– Request:

+ Each entry is accompanied by a parent’s share of their children’s progress in conquering the challenge (under 300 words).

4. Scoring Criteria

Contest score is calculated by direct interaction on Fanpage: like (1 point), comment (2 points), share (each account can only share once, set to public, 3 points). The voting portal will be open until the end of July 18, 2021.

5. How to submit papers?

The PH outside the system sends the contest entry directly to the inbox of the Sunshine Maple Bear Kindergarten fanpage; PH in the system submits the test through the class teacher’s technology.

Entries, please submit good quality video with enough information including:

6. Prize

Participating in the “Sunshine Readers” Contest:

– 01 Cultural Ambassador read: Voucher 5,000,000 VND/prize

– 03 Inspiring people to read: Voucher 3,000,000 VND/prize

– 05 People who nurture reading culture: Voucher 2,000,000 VND/prize

– 10 Reading enthusiasts: Voucher 1,000,000 VND/prize

Join the 21 day challenge:

– Participating in a stage (7 days): Ebook book “Secrets of developing bilingual ability”, 01 bilingual English story.

– Join 2 stages (14 days): Ebook book “Secrets to develop bilingual ability”, 02 bilingual English stories.

– Join 3 stages (21 days): Ebook book “Secrets to develop bilingual ability”, 03 bilingual English stories.

The results are taken according to the score from high to low. In case of equal points, it will be considered in the order of priority: share, comment.

The Sunshine Readers contest is expected to create a bond between parents and children, build a positive reading culture, and promote unlimited creativity with children to create many interesting stories. At the same time, create an environment for children to practice confidence, creative storytelling ability, contributing to enriching and diversifying English teaching activities of the school.
