School year 2021-2022, Primary and Secondary Schools officially launched SHINE WITH ME SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM to recruit students excellence, inspiration and a passion for lifelong learning.
I. SUBJECTS FOR SCHOLARSHIP APPROVAL
Students from grade 1 to grade 9 of Bilingual and International system, including students studying at Sunshine Maple Bear system and students from schools in Hanoi.

II. NUMBER OF SCHOLARSHIPS
Based on actual conditions; the number of students and individual student achievements, the system will review and award scholarships to students in all grades, including:
– Shining Scholarship, worth: 50,000,000 VND/semester.
– Construction Scholarship, worth: 25,000,000 VND/semester.
– Incubation Scholarship, worth: 10,000,000 VND/semester.
II. CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
1. Required conditions:
* For students entering first grade:
– Results of the entrance assessment: with a total score of 3 in Math – Vietnamese – English, with a score of 29 or more
* For students in Grade 2 – Grade 5:
– Business park is classified as cooperative
– Total score of three subjects Math – Vietnamese – English in all periodical tests must be at least 29 points: Bilingual system: Math – Vietnamese gets 10 points; International system: Math – English reached 10 points.
– Total score of three subjects Math – Vietnamese – English in all periodical tests must be at least 29 points: Bilingual system: Math – Vietnamese gets 10 points; International system: Math – English reached 10 points.
* For students in Grade 6 – Grade 9:
– Being graded HSG, with the average score of all subjects at 8.5 or higher, no subject (except literature) has an average score of less than 8.
– Average score of Math, Literature and English: Bilingual system: Math 9.0, Literature 8.5; English 8.5; International System: Math 9.0, English 9.0 and Literature 7.5).
– Actively participate in educational activities, experiences, community activities, set an example, contribute to spreading the core values of Sunshine Maple Bear.

III. STEPS FOR SHINE WITH ME SCHOLARSHIP APPROVAL
1. Reviewing the first year scholarship for Semester 1
* Students entering first grade:
Based on the results of the entrance examination and the scholarship application file of PHHS, the school will review, conduct additional interviews (if necessary), and announce the results after 3-4 weeks.
* Students of Grade 2 – Grade 9:
– Round 1 – Application review : Students submit the admission application (according to the school’s form) to the Admissions and Customer Care Department along with the admission documents.
– Round 2 – Written exam and interview : students, after being considered for round 1, will participate in a written exam in English and Vietnamese and interview with the Scholarship Review Board.
– Result Announcement : Shine With Me Scholarship is expected to be announced in July, and start to apply right from the first semester of the next academic year.
2. Scholarship consideration after Semester 1, applicable for Semester 2
– Round 1 – Review of documents: Students submit their application for admission (according to the school’s form) to the Admissions and Customer Care Department at the end of Term 1.
– Round 2 – Written exam and interview : students, after being considered for round 1, will participate in a written exam in English and Vietnamese and interview with the Scholarship Review Board.
– Result Announcement : The results are announced at the school-wide first semester review.
IV. SHINE WITH ME SCHOLARSHIP DOCUMENT
Students wishing to apply for the Shine With Me Scholarship need to prepare documents including:
– Application form for scholarship with photo (according to the form of the University).
– Copy of Academic Report of the school year (for new students);
– Copies of other achievements (if any).
NOTE:
+ Students who meet the required conditions but are not eligible for scholarships will be considered for the Sunshine Star award at the end of each semester.
+ Semester-based scholarships. Students cannot receive scholarships in cash, but deducted from tuition fees in the next semester. The scholarship is only valid when students are or continue to study at Sunshine Maple Bear.
+ The total amount of scholarships and applicable incentives does not exceed 100% of the tuition fee. Order of Application: Scholarship -> General Offer -> Favorable synergy/family policy -> Other incentives, if any.
