HONORING STUDENTS FOR HIGH RESULTS IN KANGAROO IKMC MATH EXAM

After a period of practice, determination and seriousness, the students of Sunshine Maple Bear Primary School received the results of the IKMC Kangaroo Math exam. Up to 06 SMBers achieved high results. That’s you:

In which, Thao Linh is in the TOP 5% of the contestants with the highest scores and Chau Linh is in the TOP 10% of the contestants with the highest scores of the contest.

Participating in an international math competition for the first time, this achievement is a stepping stone for the University and its students to gain experience and achieve higher steps in the following school years.

Kangaroo Math exam was held for the first time in 1991 in France and attracted 120,000 participants. Today, that number is more than 6 million contestants from 70 countries. The objective of the exam is to promote the movement of teaching and learning Mathematics in an international direction with the method of developing thinking through practical applied problems.

Participation in the Kangaroo Math Exam is not only for the purpose of assessing a student’s ability. The most important thing is that in the process of practice, students have more opportunities to approach Mathematics effectively, understand thoroughly the nature of the problem. This is the foundation for passion for this sport.
