At Sunshine Maple Bear Education System, we believe that educating students on how to give love needs special attention. “Success is not how much money you make, but the difference you make in the lives of others” (Michelle Obama). That difference can be great and noble things that change a person’s life, but it can also be simple things or small joys for loved ones and strangers alike.
Right from the beginning of the school year, the School and teachers introduced the five core values of the Sunshine Maple Bear Education System to students. Five values include: Empathy, Storm, Shine, Self-reliance, Respect. In particular, the value of Empathy is directed at many different levels, from understanding and sharing emotions to specific actions. The first half of the 2020-2021 school year is not a long time, but it is enough for Sunshine Maple Bear Education System to create many practical activities for students to have a better understanding of the value of Empathy, from that knows how to love and is willing to share.
In September, Sunshine Maple Bear Garden Kindergarten successfully organized a charity activity for children who are still having difficulty at Social Protection Center III. Handmade gifts made by the children with respect and love have been auctioned to raise funds. At the end of October and the beginning of November, the whole system turned to the central part of the country that was suffering from natural disasters. Teachers, parents, students and staff also donated books, school supplies and cash to a kindergarten in Quang Tri province.
